Hi there!

I'm Valery, a Toronto-based calligraphy and lettering artist.

My creative journey started unexpectedly—I decided to handwrite my family tree. What began as a spontaneous side project turned into a passion I couldn't ignore. I fell in love with the beauty of handwritten art and immersed myself in the practice.

In 2020, I turned that passion into my studio, launching during the time when connection felt more precious than ever. While the world rushed digital and remote, I chose to honor the timeless power of words crafted by hand.

Every piece that comes through my studio receives careful attention. With my work I aim to bridges our digital reality with our human need for something tangible and personal. When you hold something beautiful in your hands, when you feel the texture beneath the ink, words regain their weight and meaning.
